Costume :)

We watched the Thriller 'Léon' in class, directed by Luc Besson(1994) We were drawn into the influential role of the glasses Leon was wearing within the opening scene. The photo on the right(above) is from 'Secret Window' directed by David Koepp(2004) Here we see Mort Rainey having the same influence, with the glasses he wears. We think it would be effective to have a character with this costume, imposing the same confusing quality that both of these characters hold. Furthermore by using extreme close ups of their appearance, we hope to in turn create suspense.

Not the most riveting post ever! But they'll get better. Promise :)

Great still from Leon - love the use of the wide angle lens - creates a interesting distortion and accentuates the size of the gun.
Sunglasses in film have often been used as a symbol of power. There is a classic close-up of a policeman in Psycho leaning into Marion Crane's window that exemplifies this. Then there is the sunglasses in The Matrix...Neo only gets to wear them when he is appropriately 'powered up'.
Are you planning to use sunglasses?

yeah i think so to add to the whole mysterious character thingy, using extreme close ups and stuff so you cant see the rest of the characters face :)
